AABWA
was created in February 2001 by a group of American and African business
women convinced of the critical need for a private sector driven
organization focused on mentoring, training, networking and promoting
trade and investment opportunities between the United States and Africa
and among African countries. AABWA’s primary goals are to: (a) build
skills and relationships among African women and between American and
African women which will contribute to the development of successful
African business women who engage in importing/exporting; and (b) provide
American business women with the requisite knowledge and insights into
African markets so they can successfully invest in and trade with their
counterparts in African countries. For more information about AABWA please
contact Kadidia Thiero, AABWA Program Director, at (202) 263-3520, and
please also continue to visit this Website. |
